The earth is our home.

The plants and algae that grace its surface make the oxygen we breathe. Their ancestors and earths geology create the fuels we burn. Earths animals provide innumerable services to the planet and to us, including joyous observation, organization and processing of materials, food and fertilizer. Fungi and bacteria do countless recycling operations.

So not only is earth our home, it is our model. Mimicking the wise cycles of biology in our buildings and in our art makes our efforts blend better into our glorious and unique planet.
